In November of 2019, Knees Up Events hosted its first Walk For Vets 5k & Walk-a-Thon, benefitting Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit organization with a mission to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.

Through event proceeds and generous donations, we were able to donate $600 to HFOT in 2019 to help bring their mission to life.

Due to COVID-19, we were unable to hold a Walk for Vets in 2020, but plan to continue this benefit event annually when it is safe to do so.
